The Parent Company and the Product Classification were added by ICIJ.
The parent company information is based on 2017 public records. The device classification information comes from FDA’s Product Classification by Review Panel, based on matches of recall data from the U.S. and Canada.

In rare cases steel cables inside the lifting column of the system can fail without triggering the safety lock. this can result in the system u-arm dropping down unexpectedly during movement in the vertical direction. since the u-arm weight is approximately 100 kg failure of the steel cables may result in serious injury to patients.
