The parent company information is based on 2017 public records. The device classification information comes from FDA’s Product Classification by Review Panel, based on matches of recall data from the U.S. and Canada.

The gas springs used in the vhm arms have a finite life and can loose pressure over time. if the vhm arm (variable height mount) is left in the locked position the gas spring can loose pressure and releasing the lock may result in a sudden downward movement. this issue impacts all products built for the affected product numbers (between october 2004 - may 2010).
