    Ortho clinical diagnostics (ortho) determined that the storage limit of an open package (in use) should be reduced from 8 weeks to 4 weeks. this change affects the lots of expired, current (within the date) and future products. although these batches met all the specifications in the release test before distribution, our tests indicate that results generated using the vitros tt4 reagent packets that are open for more than 4 weeks may demonstrate a negative reaction as shown on page three.
